We start publishing fiction, poetry, nonfiction, and visual art/graphic narrative at the beginning of October. We'd love to see your piece be one of our first publications! See below for Visual Art/Graphic Narrative Submission requirements or head over to the submissions page to check out what all we accept!
In the meantime, check out our book reviews, horoscope, and interviews (including dogyard staff interviews! Get to know the dogs!).
Visual Arts & Graphic Narrative:
Give us your fine art, your found art, your photography, your short graphic comic, your boundary-pushing mashup of words and pictures—we want it all! We don't have a theme, but we won't accept your misogyny, racist tropes, violence, etc. Don't be a jerk. Show us what comes out of YOUR brain, not the AI overlords'. Send us art that invites us to see our world in new ways or suggests a story that happened just before the shutter snapped open. Visual writing prompts?? Yes, please!
Illustrations for graphic narrative must be self-made or include credit to the original artist that you are working in-tandem with and have written, express permission.
Please send up to three images (PDF, JPG, PNG) of your work per submission, and be sure to include your name, a short bio (75-100 words) and title of your piece(s) if you have them. If you can tell us what the work represents in a few sentences, we'd love to have those as well!
