Edith Krone (she/her) is a redneck writer from a farm town of around 300 people. She is the Editor-in-Chief of dogyard mag where she edits creative nonfiction. She currently reads for Palette Poetry & has previously worked for The Pinch & The Arkansas International. She has two cats, five hundred books, & more jobs/projects than she is willing to admit. Edith graduated with a BA from the University of Memphis and is currently working her way through an MFA at the University of Arkansas where she teaches Intro to Writing & Creative Writing.
Edith is a transwoman studying poetic form as a process of identity & culture. She is currently working on three books simultaneously, much to her advisors' chagrin. She has a blog on Substack and is available (for free!) poetry readings.
You can find her introductory interview for dogyard here & connect with her on Bluesky or Letterboxd!
