Edith Kaye Krone (she/her) is a redneck writer from a farm town of around 300 people. She is the Editor-in-Chief of dogyard mag where she edits creative nonfiction and book reviews. She has previously held readship positions for Palette Poetry, The Pinch, & The Arkansas International. She has two cats, five hundred books, & more jobs/projects than she is willing to admit. EK graduated with a BA from the University of Memphis & is currently working her way through an MFA at the University of Arkansas where she teaches Intro to Writing & Creative Writing.
EK is a transwoman studying poetic form as a process of identity & culture. She dabbles in all creative genres and loves hybrid, experimental work. She has a blog on Substack & is available (for free!) online poetry readings.
